Today, 30th of June 2022, on the special occasion of celebrating the birth anniversary of H.H. The 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorjee and H.E. The 12th Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, the sangha community of the monastery, preceded by the Trulkus who took birth in their own accord, and joined by the Khenpos and dorje Lopon, prayed for the long-life and well being of H.H. The Gyalwang Karmapa. Later, joined by H.H. The Gyalwang Karmapa himself through an online session, we offered Mandala representing the three supports and offered traditional sweet rice and tea.
In the afternoon, with the presence of H.E. Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, we all enjoyed the performances prepared for the occasion and later took part in games that were also prepared for the celebration. Rinpoche then bestowed white scarves to all the performers and auspiciously concluded the celebration by cutting the cake in the front ground of the monastery amidst the gathering of all devotees and sangha community.
